Facebook +2
Even Rumiko confirmed that Kagome's spiritual powers are stronger than Kikyo's, this is CANON. Yvette Russelburg Kikyo was born skilled from her young age, meaning she was strong and powerful without any training. Even in the anime and manga, we didn't see Kikyo training, but she just fought skillfully.
Unfortunately Rumiko didn't really elaborate on that but she did establish this, that Kagome is not just Kikyo's reincarnation, her soul is bigger than that. Also as I previously said, the part of Kagome's soul that contained Kikyo's consciousness went to nirvana at the end, it did not go back to Kagome.
Kagome Higurashi ( 日暮 ひぐらし かごめ, "Birdcage (first name), Sunset (family name)") is the modern day reincarnation of the feudal era miko, Kikyō, and the narrator and heroine of the series.

Before being sent away, Moroha received her paternal grandmother's Beni as a parting gift, as Inuyasha and Kagome decided to pass it on if their child was a girl.
Her jealousy towards Kagome is not just due to the fact that she now has a special place in Inuyasha's heart, but also due to the fact that Kagome was able to heal Inuyasha's heart where Kikyo couldn't (or no longer could), or simply because Kagome was a living person.
